Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how BoostGeo, operated by Lantora, LLC (“BoostGeo,” “we,” “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on www.boostgeo.com, app.boostgeo.com, and related BoostGeo surfaces (the “Services”). It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and scripts that help a site remember preferences, keep you signed in, secure forms, or measure traffic. Some are set by us; others are set by third parties we use to run the Services.
2. How we use them
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Operate and secure the Services (including authentication)
- Remember workspace preferences where the product stores them locally
- Process billing and checkout flows through payment providers
- Measure aggregate traffic on the marketing site in a privacy-oriented way
- Protect against abuse (for example bot and edge security controls)
We do not run an advertising cookie network on BoostGeo, and we do not use cookies to sell personal information.
3. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for core features such as signing in, maintaining a secure session, routing traffic through our hosting and CDN, and completing checkout. Without these, account and billing flows may not work.
-
Authentication (Clerk) on
app.boostgeo.comand related Clerk domains — session and security cookies so you can stay signed in. - Payments (Stripe) during Checkout and Customer Portal — cookies or similar storage needed to complete payment and manage subscriptions securely.
- Infrastructure (Cloudflare) — security and performance cookies or equivalent controls that may be set when you visit sites fronted by Cloudflare.
Functional / preference
Help the product remember choices in your browser. For example, the free GEO Score experience on the marketing site may use local storage (not a classic HTTP cookie) to keep a short list of recently analyzed pages on your device.
Analytics
On the marketing Site we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is designed to measure visits without relying on an advertising cookie network. Operational logs on the App and Score APIs (feature usage, scan activity, and similar) are described in the Privacy Policy and are not advertising cookies.
4. Third-party cookies
Third parties that help us run BoostGeo may set their own cookies or similar technologies when you use their features. Examples include Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, security, and analytics), and other providers named in our Privacy Policy. We do not control those third-party technologies; their use is governed by their own policies.
5. Your choices
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in, billing, or security features.
- You can clear local storage for BoostGeo domains in your browser settings if you want to remove locally saved GEO Score history.
- You can limit some analytics via browser controls or extensions.
- For App accounts, sign out and close your account where the product allows; uninstall the Shopify app to stop new Shopify-side collection.
6. Do Not Track and similar signals
There is no single industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” browser signals. We describe our practices in this policy and the Privacy Policy rather than changing behavior solely based on a DNT header.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
